  • Entering the series, Middle Tennessee has a record of 18-17 (4-4 in conference) and is coming off of a series win over Marshall last weekend.
  • Middle Tennessee was voted to finish fourth in the C-USA East behind in the coach’s preseason polls. The Blue Raiders had two preseason all-conference players.
  • The Hilltoppers enter their first C-USA series of the season with a 15-6 overall record. The Tops have unfortunately had 14 games canceled or postponed due to COVID-19 contact tracing or inclement weather.

  • WKU received votes in the most recent NCAA Top 25 Coaches Poll for the third-straight week.
  • This season, Kelsey Aikey added both her 500th career strikeout and 17th career save. • WKU Softball was predicted to win the Conference USA East Division by league coaches, receiving eight first place votes. Individually, pitcher Aikey and Shelby Nunn, along with Smith were named to the Preseason All-Conference Team.
