The Dodgers won in more ways than one during their championship 2020 season.
The Sports Business Journal recognized the Dodgers on Thursday for leading Major League Baseball in engagements and social value across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The metrics were according to Zoomph, a sponsorship analytics platform for sports, entertainment and esports brands and properties.
Dodger posts also received more impressions than any MLB team across Twitter and Instagram. While the Dodgers enjoy one of baseball’s biggest markets, SBJ’s Will Cavanaugh noted that the Dodgers also impressed in engagement rate, which isn’t impacted by follower counts. The Dodgers ranked first in engagement rate on Facebook and Instagram and finished in the top five on Twitter.
